Serbia
The Serbia national football team, governed by the Football Association of Serbia, inherited the legacy of the former Yugoslavia and Federal Republic of Yugoslavia sides. Yugoslavia were renowned as European football powerhouses, reaching multiple World Cup quarter-finals and producing legends like Dragan Džajić. As Serbia, the team has qualified for the FIFA World Cups of 2010, 2018, and 2022. Serbia is known for producing exceptional technical talent, including Aleksandar Mitrović — the all-time top scorer — Dušan Vlahović, and Dušan Tadić. The team plays home matches at the Rajko Mitić Stadium in Belgrade. Serbia has regularly competed in UEFA European Championship qualifiers, reaching the knockout rounds, and boasts a vibrant football culture with passionate support across the country.
