Rayo Vallecano vs Elche
Rayo Vallecano sit 13th and Elche sit in the bottom three on seven points, so Saturday at Vallecas matters at both ends of the table. Rayo's mood off the pitch is poor too, with fan protests against the board expected after the Athletic game was suspended. Rayo drew 1-1 at Getafe despite playing more than an hour with an extra man, and they have won only twice in eight league games. They are without Batalla, Luiz Felipe and Nteka, and Ratiu is a doubt. Balliu should keep his place at right back. Elche have one league win, over Espanyol, but come in off goalless draws with Villarreal and Celta, a sign their defence is tightening. Fer Niño has five goals in nine games and is their main threat, with Thomas Lemar and Germán Valera expected to start. Marc Aguado is out for several weeks with an ankle ligament injury. Our prediction: 1-1
Vitoria Guimaraes vs Marítimo (5 - 0)
Vitória Guimarães beat Marítimo 5-0 at the Estádio D. Afonso Henriques on Friday night. It was their second league win of the season and their first in two months. Jakupovic opened the scoring in the 38th minute with a left-footed free kick, his first goal for the club. Paulo Henrique put the second into his own net three minutes after the break, on his 30th birthday. Camara made it 3-0 on the hour with a left-footed shot, and Jakupovic got his second in the 76th minute, left one-on-one with the keeper, Vieites. Mosquera added the fifth from a corner in stoppage time. There were no red cards or penalties. Martín Tejon hit the frame of the goal for the visitors. Lucas Furtado made his first league start in goal for Vitória and Jakupovic was named man of the match. The win ends a run of five league games without a victory for Vitória, who are up to 11th on 8 points. Marítimo are 13th on the same total, and this was their heaviest defeat of the season. They next host Santa Clara on 1 November.
Aston Villa vs Manchester City
Aston Villa sit 12th on 8 points from seven games, and Manchester City arrive top of the table on 21. That gap makes this a hard Saturday lunchtime for the hosts at Villa Park, though they have beaten City in their last two league meetings, 1-0 last October and 2-1 in May. Villa have taken only one point from three home games this season. They are coming off a 3-2 win at Tottenham and a 2-2 draw with Brentford. City have won five straight, including 3-0 at Liverpool and 5-3 against Sunderland, and have scored 19 goals in seven games. Manager Maresca has said Erling Haaland is available. Jérémy Doku and Marc Guéhi are likely to start too. City are without Antoine Semenyo (knee), and Nico O'Reilly and Matheus Nunes are doubtful. Villa have Johan Manzambi (calf) in doubt and Aaron Wan-Bissaka out until 21 November. Our prediction: 1-2
Alaves vs Malaga (1 - 1)
Alavés and Málaga shared a 1-1 draw at Mendizorroza on Friday night, with the home side level only one minute from the end of normal time. It was a fair outcome for a game that Málaga led from the last minutes of the first half. Adrián Niño put the visitors ahead in the 44th minute. The referee first ruled the goal out for offside, but the VAR reviewed it and the goal stood. Lucas Boyé had already been booked for Alavés and later hit the woodwork in the second half. Nahuel Tenaglia picked up a second yellow card in the 67th minute, though Alavés still found the way back. The equaliser came in the 89th minute. Toni Martínez headed at goal and Alfonso Herrero saved, but Aitor Mañas reacted first to the rebound and scored. Málaga came in without a win from nine games and still have none. They move to five points from ten matches and stay bottom. Alavés go to 12 points.
Al Ahli vs Al Khaleej (4 - 1)
Al Ahli beat Al Khaleej 4-1 in Jeddah on Friday night, in a game the league pushed back 24 hours. Ivan Toney was back from injury and had a hand in all four goals. Toney headed Al Ahli in front in the 11th minute, after VAR overturned an offside flag. The second came in the 57th, when Bondarenko scored from a Toney pass after a mistake by goalkeeper Al-Haidari. Trincão made it three four minutes later, running onto another Toney through ball. Al Khaleej lost Benegas in the 70th minute. VAR showed a violent tackle on Ibáñez and the red card followed. Al-Khaibari still pulled one back in the 87th, set up by Hussein Al-Issa. In the fourth minute of stoppage time Crispo brought down Toney, who took the penalty himself and sent it to Al-Haidari's right. The win takes Al Ahli to 21 points and fifth place. Al Khaleej stay tenth on 12 points.
Torino vs Monza (3 - 2)
Torino won 3-2 against Monza at the Olimpico Grande Torino, but it got tense at the end. A stoppage-time own goal made the final minutes uncomfortable for the hosts. Kian Fitz-Jim put Torino ahead after 39 minutes, finishing left-footed from a Simeone through ball. It was his first Serie A goal. Gustavo Varela levelled two minutes into the second half, chipping the keeper after a short back-pass from Comuzzo. Rafik Belghali restored the lead on 61 minutes with a curled effort from outside the box, and Nikola Vlasic made it 3-1 on 73 after beating Carboni and finishing past Tornqvist. In the fourth minute of added time, Nathan Patterson turned a cross into his own net while trying to clear, and Monza had a second goal. Ismajli was the only player booked, and there were no penalties or red cards. It is a third straight win for Torino, after 2-1 against Udinese and 3-0 at Parma. They now have 13 points, one place above Juventus. Varela has nine goals in eight games for Monza in all competitions.
Mamelodi Sundowns vs Wiliete (1 - 1)
Mamelodi Sundowns are out of the CAF Champions League. They drew 1-1 at home to Wiliete on Friday night, and because the first leg in Angola finished goalless, the Angolan side go through on away goals. The defending champions made a good start at Loftus Versfeld. Tashreeq Matthews put them ahead in the 11th minute. (Goal.com spells the surname Mathews.) They had the early lead, but they never managed to kill the tie off. The visitors levelled four minutes after the break. Mabululu scored in the 49th minute, and it was Wiliete's only shot that counted all night. It was also the away goal that decided the tie. The reports mention no red cards and no other incidents. For Sundowns, the exit is a heavy one. They were the overwhelming favourites, and they will miss the group stage for the first time since 2015. CAF has scrapped the play-off that used to send Champions League losers into the Confederation Cup, so there is no way back into Africa this season. They next face Marumo Gallants in the Knockout Cup on 27 October. Wiliete reach the group stage.
Stuttgart vs Borussia M'gladbach (2 - 3)
Borussia Mönchengladbach finally have points on the board. After losing their first six league games, the worst start in the club's Bundesliga history, they came from a goal down to win 3-2 at Stuttgart. It was also the first victory under coach Alexander Blessin. Ermedin Demirovic put the hosts ahead after five minutes with a long-range shot that keeper Moritz Nicolas touched but could not keep out. Joe Scally levelled in the 38th minute with a backheel. Just before the break Wael Mohya hit the crossbar, and Stuttgart were lucky to stay level. Shuto Machino made it 2-1 in the 51st minute from Mohya's cutback, and the 17-year-old added his own header in the 66th after Scally's pass across goal. Demirovic pulled one back in the 83rd, heading in from a Jamie Leweling assist, and Bilal El Khannouss was denied by Nicolas in stoppage time. Mohya was named player of the match. Gladbach remain bottom of the table, but are no longer pointless. Stuttgart have lost five of their seven league games and have six points, which leaves them close to the relegation zone.
Ufa vs Nizhny Novgorod
Pari NN top the FNL by eight points and travel to Ufa for round 15 with a long winning run behind them. For Ufa, seventh and six points off the play-off zone, this is a chance to show the table does not tell the whole story at Neftyanik, where they have not lost this season. The visitors have won at least six in a row, scoring 43 goals and conceding 15 in the league. Vyacheslav Grulev has scored at least 16 of them and is the division's top scorer. Their last league game was a 2-1 win at Ural. Ufa's form is patchier. A 2-0 home win over Arsenal Tula followed a goalless draw with Torpedo and a 1-0 defeat at Sochi. They have conceded only five goals in eight home games and kept two clean sheets in a row there. Dilan Ortiz has six goals, and goalkeeper Alexander Belenov has been in good form. Konstantin Troyanov and Zalimkhan Yusupov are injured. Our prediction: 1-2
Brest vs Nice (1 - 2)
Nice left Brittany with a 2-1 win over Brest in Ligue 1 on Friday, turning the game around in the second half after trailing for most of the first. Ludovic Ajorque put the hosts ahead in the 15th minute with a header, after goalkeeper Yehvann Diouf misjudged the ball. Brest held that lead into the second half and created the better chances, finishing with an expected goals figure of 1.57 against 0.36 for Nice. Elye Wahi levelled in the 61st minute with a close-range finish, set up by Mohamed Amoura. Then, in the 83rd minute, substitute Sofiane Diop scored the winner from a Wahi assist. Sportsdunia named Wahi its man of the match with a rating of 8.5. None of the sources mention any cards. For Nice it is a return to winning ways in the league, and they took three points from a game they were second best in on the numbers. Brest lost at home in matchday 8 despite outcreating their visitors.
Eyüpspor vs Kasımpaşa
Eyupspor are bottom of the Super Lig with three points from eight games. They have won once all season, a 2-1 against Alanyaspor in week three, and have lost their last five, including 8-0 at Fenerbahce and 4-0 at home to Goztepe. Zak Jules leads the team with a goal and an assist, while Ahmed Abdullahi is suspended after a red card and Yusuf Barasi is doubtful. Kasimpasa arrive seventh on 13 points, fresh from a 4-1 win over Samsunspor. Their only league defeat was 3-1 at Galatasaray. Adrian Benedyczak has five goals this season and Claudio Winck has set up two. Emre Belozoglu's side are without Kamil Ahmet Corekci and Mortadha Ben Ouanes through injury. They have won three of the last four meetings, the exception being a 2-0 loss last October. Our prediction: 0-2
Ipswich Town vs Nottingham Forest (1 - 1)
Ipswich and Nottingham Forest finished 1-1 at Portman Road on Friday night, with a VAR check on a possible red card for the home side the talking point of the second half. Forest went ahead in the 13th minute. Daniel Muñoz delivered a cross from the right and Neco Williams finished it to make it 0-1. Ipswich pulled level in the 41st minute when Julio Enciso hit a low left-footed shot from outside the box. Early in the second half, officials looked at Issa Diop for a possible sending off after a challenge on James McAtee. No red card was given and the decision stood. Murillo was booked for Forest in the 55th minute. Muñoz had a shot cleared off the line in the 65th, and Callum Hudson-Odoi sent a late effort just wide in the 90th. The point leaves Forest in the relegation zone after eight matches. Ipswich stay unbeaten on the night and take a point from a game Forest had led early.
Al-Qadsiah vs Al Hilal (2 - 3)
Al Hilal left Dammam with a 3-2 win over Al Qadsiah and took first place in the Pro League. The visitors scored twice in seven minutes late on, then had to survive a goal from the hosts three minutes from time. Gabriel Martinelli put Al Hilal ahead on 21 minutes, finishing a low pass from Ollie Watkins. Julian Quinones levelled around the half-hour mark, heading in a cross from Musab Al-Juwayr. Martinelli went off limping on 49 minutes and Sultan Mandash replaced him. The game stayed level until Ruben Neves scored on 77 minutes, set up by Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. Seven minutes later Milinkovic-Savic got one himself, converting a low cross from Mandash. Mateo Retegui headed in a Tijjani Reijnders cross on 87 minutes to make it 3-2, but Al Qadsiah found no equaliser. Al Hilal now have 27 points, two clear at the top. Al Qadsiah are on 25 and have fallen to third behind Al Nassr on goal difference.
Go Ahead Eagles vs Telstar (3 - 2)
Go Ahead Eagles ended a poor run on Friday night by beating Telstar 3-2 at De Adelaarshorst, though a stoppage-time goal made the finish tighter than it needed to be. Soren Tengstedt did most of the damage. He put the hosts ahead in the 7th minute with a shot into the near corner, then added a second in the 33rd after a pass from Mathis Suray. Tyrone Owusu pulled one back for Telstar in the 48th minute, finishing a rebound off the keeper. Evert Linthorst restored the two-goal lead in the 67th with a header from a corner. Sem Valk scored for the visitors in the second minute of stoppage time, but there was no time left for a third. No cards were reported. Go Ahead Eagles had gone six league games without a win and were beaten 4-1 at PEC Zwolle a week earlier. Tengstedt now leads the Eredivisie scoring charts. Telstar are still waiting for a win since beating NEC on 8 August, nine league games ago.
Orlando Pirates vs African Stars (4 - 0)
Orlando Pirates made their second leg against African Stars a formality, winning 4-0 at Orlando Stadium on Friday night. The tie finished 5-0 on aggregate after the 1-0 first leg win in Gaborone. Thapelo Mokobodi opened the scoring in the 18th minute. Evidence Makgopa then put the hosts 2-0 up on the stroke of half-time, finishing from close range. Mpho Padime added a third just after the restart, in the 47th minute, which left the Namibian side needing four goals. Makgopa got his second in the 76th minute for the 4-0 final score. The live reports mention no cards and no penalties, so the whole night was about Pirates scoring from open play. For Orlando Pirates, a win or a draw was always enough to reach the group stage, and they went well beyond that. African Stars go out having failed to score in either leg, with their only other task on the night, a two-goal win, never close.
Alanyaspor vs Kocaelispor (1 - 2)
Kocaelispor won 2-1 away at Alanyaspor in Week 9 of the Super Lig, building a two-goal lead before half-time and then holding on after a goal back early in the second half. Berkan Kutlu opened the scoring in the 27th minute, his fourth goal of the season. Fifteen minutes later Baku made it 2-0, finishing a chance that came from a corner. Baku had already tested the home defence in the 24th minute, when a hard shot from the left struck a defender and went over the bar. Alanyaspor responded after the break. Ruan pulled one back in the 52nd minute to make it 2-1, but the hosts could not find an equaliser. None of the sources report any cards or penalties. The win lifts Kocaelispor to sixth in the table with 15 points from nine matches. Alanyaspor stay ninth on 12 points.
Al Ittihad vs Al Diriyah (2 - 0)
Al Ittihad beat Al Diriyah 2-0 in Jeddah on Friday night in Round 11 of the Pro League. A first-half goal from close range and a late penalty were enough, and the penalty was Georginio Wijnaldum's first league goal in five months. George Ilenikhena put Al Ittihad ahead in the 30th minute with a left-footed finish from close in. Al Diriyah had the earlier chances. Oscar Rodriguez went close in the 5th minute, and Adil Boulbina was denied by the goalkeeper in the 13th. Berat Djimsiti headed wide shortly after the break. Wijnaldum had already put one effort over the bar and another wide of the post before he was given the chance from the spot. In the 77th minute he sent his penalty into the bottom left corner. The match was a bad-tempered one, with three bookings for the hosts and five for Al Diriyah, but no one was sent off. The win lifts Al Ittihad to 23 points and fourth place in the table. Al Diriyah stay on 15 points in eighth.
Torpedo Moskva vs Rotor Volgograd (1 - 1)
Torpedo Moscow and Rotor Volgograd shared a 1-1 draw in round 15 of the FNL at Arena Khimki on Friday. The home side were ahead inside the first minute, but the visitors found an equaliser in the second half and left with a point. The opener was an own goal. Emmerson put the ball into his own net in the opening minute, which gave Torpedo an early lead. Emmerson was booked on 25 minutes, and Egor Danilkin followed him into the referee's notebook before the break. No red cards or penalties were recorded. Rotor levelled on 70 minutes through Alexander Khokhlachev. One live report put the goal at 72, but the match report has it at 70. Neither side found a winner after that, and each team used its bench, with Torpedo making five changes and Rotor four. The draw leaves Torpedo third on 28 points, with eight wins, four draws and three defeats. Rotor are ninth on 19 points. On 1 November Torpedo travel to KAMAZ, while Rotor host Ufa.
PSG vs Lyon
PSG and Lyon arrive at the Parc des Princes level on 14 points after seven games, with Lyon top of the Ligue 1 table and PSG a place behind. The league's sources differ on the exact date of the fixture, with the round eight meeting listed for 25 October, so check the kick-off before you tune in. PSG have won their last four, most recently 3-1 at Strasbourg. Ferran Torres has four league goals and sits joint fifth among the division's scorers. Lyon have won three of their last five, drawn one and lost one, and beat Nice 2-1 at home last time out. Ernest Nuamah leads their scoring with three. The head-to-head favours the hosts, who have won four of the last five meetings. The exception was the most recent one, in April 2026, when Lyon won 2-1. Our prediction: 2-1
Al Faisaly vs Al Nassr (1 - 3)
Al Nassr won 3-1 at Al Faisaly on Friday in Round 11 of the Pro League, and the result lifted them to 25 points, level with leaders Al Qadsiah. Cristiano Ronaldo reached 982 career goals along the way. Abdullah Al-Hamdan gave the visitors the lead in the 4th minute with a right-footed strike from the edge of the area into the bottom corner. Ronaldo doubled it in the 49th, heading in a free-kick from João Félix. A second Ronaldo goal was ruled out by VAR for offside. Théo Bongonda pulled one back for Al Faisaly in the 66th minute with a close-range header. Ângelo restored the two-goal margin in the 79th, finishing after Ronaldo's delivery was chested down by Al-Hamdan. Al Nassr collected two yellow cards, Al Faisaly none. Al Nassr sit second, behind Al Qadsiah on goal difference, and Al Qadsiah have a game in hand. Al Faisaly stay 15th with 7 points.
SKA Khabarovsk vs Yenisey
SKA Khabarovsk are bottom of the FNL with seven points from 14 games, and a home match against 13th-placed Yenisey (14 points, two clear of the drop) is a chance to close the gap. Both clubs have changed coach recently. The hosts lost 1-2 to Volga last time despite hitting the woodwork twice, after a 3-3 draw with KAMAZ. They concede about two a game, the worst in the league, and have won one of their seven home matches. Zakhar Kravtsov and Vladislav Bragin are injured. Yenisey have won one of seven away games. Andrei Okladnikov leads their attack but has not scored in four, while Amir Batyrev and Marat Tlekhugov are out and Nikita Bogatyrev is doubtful. The last meeting finished 1-1. Our prediction: 2-2
Juventud vs Peñarol
Juventud host Peñarol at the Centenario on Friday, after the clubs agreed a deal to move the game from Parque Artigas. It is matchday 12 of the Clausura, and both want points for the Tabla Anual, which decides the continental places. Peñarol arrive in a tense mood. They lost 1-0 to Liverpool last time out, have dropped five of their last six points and fell behind Nacional for the first time this Clausura. They are fourth on 20 points. Some directors want the future of coach Diego Aguirre debated, though the president backs him. Juventud are seventh on 17. In April the sides drew 2-2, with Mimbacas and Rabino putting Juventud 2-0 up at half-time before Peñarol levelled late. Peñarol have not lost to them in seven meetings. No injury or suspension news turned up. Our prediction: 1-2
Cruzeiro vs Remo
Cruzeiro are fourth on 51 points with seven games left, and a home win over Remo would keep them in the hunt for a top-five finish. Remo are 19th on 26 and one of the models used by the sources gives them a 97.8 per cent chance of going down, so the night in Belo Horizonte is about damage limitation for the visitors. Cruzeiro arrive with mixed results: a 4-2 win at Grêmio followed a 4-2 defeat at Bragantino. They have won eight of their 15 league games at the Mineirão and elsewhere in the recent run, and have lost only three at home all season. Remo have drawn their last three, 1-1 with Grêmio, 0-0 with Vasco and 1-1 with Bragantino, and have won only five times all year. Away from home they have won twice. Both sides have problems. Marcelo is suspended for the hosts, while Pec, Sinisterra and Villareal are all out injured. Remo are without Taliari through suspension, and Tchamba and Lucas are also missing. Cruzeiro won the first meeting 1-0 in April. Our prediction: 2-0
Caiquetio vs Sporting Lisbon
Caiquetio and Sporting meet in the first round of the 2026-27 Division di Honor, so neither side has a league position yet. Ten clubs are in the field, and Britannia start as champions after winning the title in each of the last three seasons. Both clubs have something to put right from last year. Sporting finished fourth in the regular season and reached the final group, where Britannia beat them 3-1 in July. Caiquetio spent the season in the relegation playoff group and lost 2-1 to Nacional in the fifth-place final on 12 June. They have been back in the top flight since 2023-24, when they came up from Division Uno. We could not find a head-to-head record for the two clubs, and no individual players have been singled out in the coverage so far. On last season's finish, Sporting arrive in the better shape. Our prediction: 1-2
Monterrey vs Guadalajara
A three-point gap separates Chivas and Monterrey in the Apertura table, and this Jornada 14 meeting at the Estadio BBVA can change it. Chivas are second on 23 points with a goal difference of +8. Rayados are seventh on 20 points and +6, with Querétaro level on points in eighth. Both sides won in midweek. Chivas beat Necaxa 1-0, and Monterrey beat Puebla 4-1. Recent meetings favour the visitors. Chivas won 4-2 in November 2025, then 3-2 at this same ground in March, when Djuka missed a late penalty for Rayados. Our prediction: 2-1
Kortrijk vs Mechelen
Kortrijk sit 17th with three points from eight games, and KV Mechelen are 14th on six. Neither side can afford to lose this one, though the gap is wider than the table suggests. Mechelen come in with wins over Sint-Truiden and Eupen and want a third in a row. It has been a rough spell for the hosts. New coach Daniel Beichler lost his first game 3-0 at Genk, where his side played the second half with ten men, and the club then went out of the cup against amateurs Heist. The earlier 2-1 win at Lierse is the performance he points to, and he wants more pressing and a team that attacks and defends together. Shandre Campbell is suspended for Kortrijk. Mechelen coach Fred Vanderbiest expects a very different opponent from two weeks ago. Simion Michez is doubtful and Bouke Boersma is out with a muscle problem, with scans still to come. Storms are forecast for the Guldensporenstadion. Our prediction: 1-1
Kocaelispor vs Rizespor
Kocaelispor welcome Rizespor on 31 October with only two points between them. Kocaelispor are 8th in the Super Lig on 12 points from eight games, and Rizespor are 10th on 10. Kocaelispor have won four and lost four so far, scoring nine goals and conceding eight. Rizespor have three wins, a draw and four defeats. They arrive after a 3-0 home loss to Fenerbahçe and a 2-1 defeat at Çorum FK, and they host Trabzonspor on 26 October before making the trip. The last meeting went to Rizespor. They won 2-0 at home in February through Valentin Mihaila after 13 minutes and Samet Akaydın after 57, which ended a run of eight league games without a win. Kocaelispor had not lost in their previous four away league games before that night, so they have a result to put right. Our prediction: 2-1
Erzurumspor FK vs Çorum FK
Erzurumspor welcome Corum to the Kazim Karabekir complex on 31 October in a meeting of two promoted sides still finding their level in the Super Lig. Corum are sixth with 13 points from eight games, while Erzurumspor are 11th on 11 points, with a goal difference of minus six. Corum come in on a good run. They won 3-0 away at Gaziantep and then beat Rizespor 2-1 on 16 October, coming from a goal down thanks to Cengiz Ünder before Youssoufa Moukoko scored the winner in the 80th minute. Erzurumspor beat Eyupspor 2-0 on 17 October after a goalless draw at Alanyaspor, and have kept clean sheets in four of their last five league games. Eren Tozlu leads their scoring with three goals. The two have met ten times, with six Erzurumspor wins, three draws and one Corum win. Their last meeting, in the second tier in May, finished 1-1. Our prediction: 1-1
Levante vs Atletico Madrid
Atlético Madrid travel to the Ciutat de València on 31 October as the league's second-placed side, five points behind leaders Barcelona. They have 22 points from nine games, one more than Real Madrid, who they beat 2-1 in September. The visitors arrive in good order. They have won their last two league games away from home, 2-1 at Alavés and 1-0 at Espanyol, where Álex Baena scored in the 89th minute. Baena leads the squad with five league goals, and Julián Álvarez is among those expected to carry the attack. Atlético have scored 19 and conceded eight so far. Levante are in a harder spot. Their last five league results read win, draw, draw, defeat, defeat, and they travel to Real Sociedad on 25 October before this game. Gonzalo Brugui is their top scorer this season with three goals. We found no head-to-head record for this fixture in our sources. On current form, Atlético are clear favourites. Our prediction: 0-2
Atlético Nacional vs Deportivo Pasto (3 - 0)
Atlético Nacional beat Deportivo Pasto 3-0 at the Atanasio Girardot in Medellín and finished the night as leaders of the Liga BetPlay 2026-II. They started the round second, and the win lifted them above América de Cali on goal difference. The opening goal set the tone. Edwin Cardona struck from near the halfway line in the 13th minute and beat the Pasto goalkeeper, a goal Spanish-language reports called a real golazo. That was the only goal of a first half in which Pasto never found a way back. The second came early after the break. Escorcia scored from inside the six-yard box in the 52nd or 53rd minute (the reports differ), poking the ball in during a scramble while Pasto defenders were throwing themselves in the way. Juan Manuel Rengifo then added the third in the 90th minute. One report has him going past two defenders before finishing with his left foot. The match produced a handful of bookings and no penalties. For Nacional the result moves them to 29 points, one clear of América, and further towards a quadrangular place. Pasto came into the game bottom of the 20-team table on 9 points and leave it there.
Orlando Pirates vs Kaizer Chiefs
The first Soweto derby of the season has sold out its 63 680 public tickets inside a day. Orlando Pirates are within a point of leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, while Kaizer Chiefs are fourth on 14 points, eight behind their rivals. Pirates have won their last six league games, and followed a 2-0 MTN8 final loss to Sundowns with a 3-0 win over TS Galaxy. Goalkeeper Sipho Chaine has seven clean sheets in eight league appearances, and Tshepang Moremi scored the 78th-minute winner against African Stars in the Champions League. Chiefs are unbeaten in the league but have drawn five of their last six, then lost 1-0 away to Red Arrows in the Confederation Cup. Pirates won 3-0 in February, their biggest league win over Chiefs in 25 years, and April ended 1-1. Chiefs won the Nedbank Cup final 2-1 last May. Our prediction: 2-0
Al Taawon vs Al Ittifaq
Al Taawon host Al Ettifaq in Buraidah with the two clubs a long way apart in the table. Taawon are 17th on 4 points from 10 games and have not won in the league. Ettifaq are 8th on 15 points from the same number of matches. Taawon have drawn four and lost six, with a goal difference of -13. They lost 1-0 at home to Al Qadsiah on 20 October, three days after a 1-1 draw at Al Diriyah. Abderrazak Hamdallah leads their scoring with three league goals. Ettifaq lost 4-1 at home to Al Ittihad on that same night, having won 1-0 at Neom three days earlier. Moussa Dembélé is their top scorer on three, with Álvaro Medrán and Bersant Celina on two each. Last season's meetings were shared: Taawon won 4-1 in September 2025 and Ettifaq won 1-0 in February 2026. Our prediction: 1-2
Volga Ulyanovsk vs Tekstilshchik
Ulyanovsk host Tekstilshtik in the First League on 31 October, and the table shows how different their seasons have been. Ulyanovsk are ninth of 18 with 18 points from 15 games. Tekstilshtik are 17th with 10 points from 14 and have won only twice. Ulyanovsk come in off a 2-1 win at SKA Khabarovsk on 18 October, after a 2-2 draw at Rotor and a win at Veles. Aleksandr Saplinov leads their scoring with six goals, and the side has been picking up points since the change of coach. Tekstilshtik beat Chelyabinsk 2-1 on 18 October for their first home win of the season, ending a run of four straight defeats. They have scored 10 and conceded 22, and Nikita Pershin tops their list with two goals. A 2-0 loss at Ural in August showed a side that sat deep and played long balls. Our prediction: 2-0
Neftekhimik vs SKA Khabarovsk
Neftekhimik host SKA-Khabarovsk in a fixture between two clubs near the foot of the 18-team table. Neftekhimik are 16th on 12 points after 14 games. SKA are last on 7, with one win, four draws and nine defeats. SKA's recent league run reads 0-0 at Shinnik, 3-3 with KamAZ and a 2-1 home loss to Volga on 18 October. They did beat Dinamo Kirov 2-0 in the Russian Cup in between. Nikita Motspan leads their scoring with three goals and tops the goals-plus-assists list on five. Neftekhimik have won two and lost three of their last five, with wins over Chelyabinsk and Yenisey. SKA hold the historical edge, eight wins to three with eight draws, though the last meeting ended 1-1 on 3 November 2025. Our prediction: 2-1
Leningradets vs Yenisey
Leningradets welcome Yenisey in round 16 of the FNL, and the table says there is little between them. Yenisey are 13th on 14 points from 14 games. Leningradets are 15th on 13, so one result can swap them round or open a gap. Both arrive on a losing run. Yenisey went down 1-2 at home to Torpedo Moscow on 17 October, their second defeat in a row, and their record reads three wins, five draws and six losses with a goal difference of -11. Leningradets lost 0-2 to Spartak Kostroma on the same day. They have won three, drawn four and lost seven, scoring 11 goals and conceding 25. Both have a game first. Yenisey travel to SKA Khabarovsk on 24 October, and Leningradets visit Neftekhimik a day later. Our prediction: 1-1
Chelyabinsk vs Shinnik
Chelyabinsk host Shinnik Yaroslavl in the First League on 31 October, with the two sides in different halves of the table. After 14 rounds Shinnik are eighth on 20 points, while Chelyabinsk sit twelfth on 15. Nizhny Novgorod lead the division with 37. Shinnik have drawn eight of their 14 games, winning four and losing two, with 18 goals scored and 14 conceded. They last played on 18 October, a draw away at Veles. Chelyabinsk have won four, drawn three and lost seven, scoring 18 and letting in 23. They went down away at Tekstilshchik in round 14. One head-to-head listing shows Shinnik with a win and a draw from two meetings, and Chelyabinsk still looking for their first victory in the fixture. Our prediction: 1-1
Viktoria Plzen vs Levski Sofia (1 - 2)
Levski Sofia won 2-1 at Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League on Thursday night, scoring twice either side of a home equaliser to leave the Czech side without a point. Everton Bala put the visitors ahead in the 44th minute, with Reinaldo setting him up. Plzen levelled in the 62nd minute when Christophe Kabongo scored from a corner delivered by Cheick Souare. The home side did not enjoy the equaliser for long. Three minutes later Reinaldo got the goal himself, with Maicon providing the pass, and that was the winner. Plzen had far more efforts on target, 12 to 2 by one count, but could not find another goal. Reinaldo went off injured in the 82nd minute. There were no penalties or red cards, and Stefan Pirgic was booked for the hosts late on. The result leaves Levski on four points from three games. Plzen have lost all three, with two goals scored and seven conceded.
Omonia Nicosia vs Benfica (1 - 4)
Benfica beat Omonia 4-1 in Nicosia on Thursday and kept their perfect start to the Europa League league phase, with three goals in the last 40 minutes after a level first half. The visitors went ahead in the 15th minute when a shot from Claudio Echeverri was turned into his own net by Nego. Andronikos Kakoullis levelled just before the break, heading in a Jaden Montnor cross for his first goal of the season. Vangelis Pavlidis put Benfica back in front in the 49th minute, finishing the rebound after goalkeeper Fabiano saved an Alexander Bah shot. Pavlidis then hit the post, and Fredrik Aursnes made it 3-1 in the 76th after Omonia lost the ball while playing out from the back. Gianluca Prestianni added the fourth in the 85th, tapping into an empty net from a Dodi Lukébakio pass. Tomás Araújo was the only player booked. Benfica have nine points from three games, following wins over Milan and Celtic. Omonia stay on six points, with this their first defeat after beating Celje and Celta Vigo.
Olympiakos vs Sparta Prague (1 - 0)
Olympiacos Piraeus beat Sparta Prague 1-0 at the Karaiskakis Stadium in the Europa League, and the only goal came with 12 minutes left. It was goalless at the break, with the hosts doing most of the pressing and the visitors' better chances deflected off target. The breakthrough arrived in the 78th minute. FotMob records it as an own goal by Sparta's Sivert Mannsverk, while Sports Mole credits Armando González, so the scorer is not settled between the two. Referee Espen Eskås booked six players. Sparta collected four yellows, for Jaroslav Zelený (29th), Roman Macek (38th), Ebrima Singhateh (77th) and Martin Suchomel (80th). Jota Silva and Gelson Martins were cautioned for Olympiacos late on. Substitute Chiquinho was named player of the match by FotMob. Olympiacos had 23 shots to Sparta's 14 and took 60 per cent of the ball. The win lifts them to nine points from three games, with three wins out of three. Sparta had won once and drawn once before this match and are still looking for their second victory.
Lillestrøm vs Real Sociedad (0 - 6)
Real Sociedad won 6-0 at Lillestrom in the Europa League on Thursday night, their first win in this season's competition. The visitors were three goals up by the 33rd minute and the home side never found a way back into it. Sergio Gómez scored in the 25th and 27th minutes, and Mikel Oyarzabal set up both. Oyarzabal also supplied the pass for Luka Sučić to make it 3-0 in the 33rd. Lillestrom had a chance to answer just after the restart, but Thomas Lehne Olsen missed a penalty in the 46th minute, with Unai Marrero saving it for the visitors. Orri Óskarsson came off the bench and made it 4-0 in the 64th, Sučić added his second in the 72nd and Arsen Zakharyan completed the scoring in the 80th. For Real Sociedad it is a first victory in the competition and a six-goal margin that will matter if the table is close. Lillestrom leave Åråsen with nothing, having failed to score and wasted their best chance.
Jagiellonia Białystok vs Anderlecht (0 - 3)
Anderlecht left Bialystok with a 3-0 win over Jagiellonia, their first victory in this season's Europa League after two defeats to open the campaign. The visitors had been under pressure heading into the night, and coach Vitor Bruno had even called the hosts favourites beforehand. Mihajlo Cvetkovic put the Belgians ahead in the 21st minute after Hampus Finndell gave the ball away. Anderlecht had most of the first half, with six shots in the opening 20 minutes to none for the Poles. After the break Jagiellonia came back into it. Nik Prelec headed at Coosemans, and a penalty appeal after a clash between Sow and Biancone was turned down. Marten Winkler made it 0-2 in the 72nd minute after good work from substitute Enric Llansana. Eight minutes later 17-year-old Jayden Onia Seke scored his first European goal for the club. Three players were booked on each side. The result leaves Anderlecht on 3 points from 3 games, 22nd in the 36-team table. Jagiellonia stay on 3 points. Anderlecht host Gent on Sunday.
Hoffenheim vs Lyon (3 - 0)
Hoffenheim beat Lyon 3-0 at the SNP Arena in Sinsheim on Thursday night, taking their first win of this Europa League campaign. The game was goalless until the very end of the first half. Andrej Kramaric scored in the 45th minute plus four, after a scramble in the box and a Lyon clearance that came back off the line. Ahmad Daghim added a second four minutes after the restart (49th), and Adam Hlozek made it 3-0 in the 83rd. Lyon had the first real chance through Nakamura in the 10th minute, and Boudache forced a block from Baumann in the 37th. After the break they barely threatened. Hoffenheim finished with 21 shots to eight, and eight of those were on target. Mats Rots, Wouter Burger and Ozan Kabak were booked for the home side. Moussa Niakhate was booked for Lyon after the final whistle. Hoffenheim have three points from three games and sit 23rd in the table. Lyon stay 12th on six points after their first defeat of the phase.
Celtic vs Celta Vigo (1 - 2)
Celta Vigo beat Celtic 2-1 at Celtic Park in the Europa League league phase, and two goals in four minutes from Javi Rodríguez decided it. Javi Rodríguez scored in the 68th minute, with Hugo Álvarez credited with the assist, and added a second in the 71st. Celtic had 56% of the possession, but it did not stop them losing. The sources I found did not name the scorer of the home side's goal. Both clubs came into the match with two defeats from their first two league phase games, so this was the first win for Celta Vigo in the competition. Celtic now have three defeats from three.
Celje vs Salzburg (2 - 2)
Celje were two goals behind inside a minute of the second half and still left with a point, drawing 2-2 with Salzburg in the Europa League. The equaliser came in the 90th minute. Sota Kitano gave the visitors the lead after nine minutes, finishing after a pass from Damir Redzic. Jesper Lindstrom came off the bench and scored 22 seconds after the restart to make it 2-0. Celje had hit the post through Tusha in the first half, and they pulled one back in the 50th minute when Blaz Kramer finished into the far corner. Haris Tabakovic missed a chance to restore the two-goal lead late on. Then Armandas Kucys scored from close range in the 90th minute after Salzburg failed to clear. No cards or penalties were reported. The Slovenian champions had lost to Bayer Leverkusen and Omonia Nicosia without scoring, so they now have one point and their first goals of the competition. Salzburg, beaten 4-0 by AC Milan last time out, move from three points to four.
AFC Bournemouth vs AC Milan (3 - 0)
Bournemouth beat AC Milan 3-0 at the Vitality Stadium, and the match turned on the sending off of goalkeeper Mike Maignan before the half hour. The hosts were in front after eight minutes. Evanilson headed the ball against the arm of Jan Bart De Winter, and after a VAR check the referee pointed to the spot. Justin Kluivert converted. Then came the red card. Maignan, the Milan captain, struck Adams in the face during a corner and was dismissed straight away. The sources differ by a minute or two on the exact time. Marcus Tavernier scored the second penalty in the 32nd minute. Milan, down to ten men, offered little in reply. Amine Adli made it 3-0 with a free kick in the 84th minute. Bournemouth have now won all three of their Europa League games and have nine points. Milan stay on three points after a second defeat in the competition, and a top eight finish is now under threat.
Besiktas vs Crystal Palace (2 - 2)
Besiktas finished with ten men and still came away with a point, drawing 2-2 with Crystal Palace in the Europa League at the Tüpraş Stadium on Wednesday night. Wilfred Ndidi put the hosts in front in first-half stoppage time (45+2). Palace came back quickly after the break. Yeremy Pino levelled in the 51st minute, a goal that was first flagged offside before VAR let it stand, and Jean-Philippe Mateta made it 2-1 to the visitors four minutes later. Junior Olaitan brought Besiktas level in the 73rd minute. Soon afterwards Ümit Akdağ was sent off for a hard challenge on Strand Larsen, with the red card shown around the 77th or 78th minute depending on the source. No penalties were given. Besiktas have 7 points from three games and are still unbeaten in the league phase. Crystal Palace have 4 points. The hosts travel to Celtic on 5 November.
Thun vs Hajduk Split (0 - 1)
No match report for Thun v Hajduk Split on 22 October 2026 could be found, so I haven't written a recap. The searches returned only previews, broadcast listings and a live-score page. The Sofascore page snippet suggested Hajduk led 1-0 through Dalisson de Almeida in the 17th minute. I couldn't open the page to check that, and it doesn't confirm the final score, any other events or the match context. Writing a recap from that would mean inventing facts. Try again once outlets such as UEFA.com or Sky Sports have published reports.
Monaco vs Freiburg (3 - 0)
Monaco beat Freiburg 3-0 at the Stade Louis II on Thursday night. They led by one goal for most of the game, then added two more in the closing minutes. Paris Brunner opened the scoring in first-half stoppage time (45+2), set up by Edan Diop. It was his eighth goal in nine games this season. The second came in the 83rd minute. Ansu Fati had a shot saved by Mio Backhaus, and Lamine Camara put away the rebound. Fati then scored himself in the 91st minute, with Matthis Abline providing the pass. Freiburg had 12 shots, but only one hit the target, and Lukas Hradecky saved it. Yannik Engelhardt went off injured after 14 minutes. Coach Julian Schuster was booked for complaining. Monaco move up to sixth with six points from two games, inside the top eight. Freiburg are 18th on three points, in the playoff places.
Midtjylland vs Sint-Truiden (0 - 1)
St. Truiden won 1-0 away at Midtjylland in the Conference League on Thursday night in Herning. They hit the woodwork three times, and the visitors' goalkeeper was still needed late on to protect the lead. The only goal came three minutes before the break. Robert-Jan Vanwesemael sent a cross in from the flank and Frederic Soèllé headed it home from close range in the 42nd minute. Midtjylland had the better of the early pressure, but St. Truiden finished with around 58% of the possession. Mbuku struck the right post in the 23rd minute, and Ilias Sebaoui hit the same post in the 77th and the crossbar in the 86th. At the other end the St. Truiden keeper kept out a Friday Etim shot in the 63rd minute. Pedro Bravo was booked for Midtjylland and came off at half-time with an injury. Ryan Merlen was replaced by the visitors in the 72nd minute. The win lifts St. Truiden into the upper part of the league phase table. Midtjylland remain near the bottom after a second round defeat on home soil.
Lincoln Red Imps vs Twente (1 - 4)
No match report could be written. I searched twice and found no published articles on Lincoln Red Imps vs Twente. The only results were fixture listings, live-score shells and previews, and the match was still listed as not started. None of them gave a final score, scorers, minutes or events, so I have nothing to base a recap on beyond the 1-4 you supplied. Writing goal scorers or incidents without sources would mean inventing them. Try again once match reports from UEFA.com, Sky Sports or Dutch outlets are live.
