US Lecce
Unione Sportiva Lecce was founded in 1908 and is based in Lecce, the cultural capital of the Salento region in Puglia, southern Italy. The club competes in Serie A and plays its home matches at the Stadio Via del Mare, a charming ground with a capacity of around 33,000 spectators. Known as the Giallorossi for their distinctive yellow-and-red colors, Lecce has a long tradition as a yo-yo club, alternating between Serie A and Serie B with remarkable regularity. The team is celebrated for its attacking philosophy and the passion of its fans in one of Italy's most beautiful and historically rich cities. Lecce's historic baroque architecture mirrors the flair often displayed by its football team, making the club a beloved emblem of southern Italian pride and footballing passion.
