Bologna

Bologna FC 1909, founded on October 3, 1909, in the Emilia-Romagna capital and playing at the historic Stadio Renato Dall'Ara (capacity ~36,000) since 1927, won seven Scudetti between 1925 and 1964 — including a famous 1937 Paris International Exhibition triumph that earned them the nickname 'Wonder Team.' After nearly 60 years outside the Champions League, Bologna qualified for the 2024-25 tournament under Thiago Motta by finishing fifth in Serie A in 2023-24, making history for the Rossoblu. In May 2025, they added their third Coppa Italia title, defeating AC Milan 1-0 in the final. The club is currently undergoing a major renovation of the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara, modernising the historic ground while preserving its celebrated architecture.
