Vietnam sent a clear message ahead of the ASEAN Cup with a comfortable 4-0 friendly win over Myanmar at Thai Nguyen Stadium. For Vietnam, it was exactly the kind of tune-up coach Kim Sang-sik wanted, blending naturalized talents with homegrown players before the squad departs for Thailand to defend its ASEAN Cup title. For Myanmar, it was a chastening night that exposed plenty to work on.
