Bolivia vs Algeria
Match Report
Algeria were utterly dominant in this behind-closed-doors friendly, routing Bolivia 4-0. The tone was set just before halftime when Aïssa Mandi opened the scoring in the 44th minute, giving the Fennec Foxes a deserved lead.
Amine Gouiri then struck twice in quick succession — 55th and 57th minutes — before Anis Hadj Moussa completed the rout in the 60th, a devastating five-goal burst across just 16 minutes. At halftime, Algeria sent out an entirely new lineup and the fresh legs immediately overran Bolivia's tiring defense. Mohammed Amoura had earlier collected a yellow card in the 40th minute, the only disciplinary moment of the afternoon.
For Algeria, it is a timely confidence boost as they prepare for their Group J World Cup opener against Argentina. Bolivia, who also fell 4-0 to Scotland in their last warm-up, are clearly prioritising the development of younger players over results at this stage.
