Mirassol secured their place in the Copa Libertadores Round of 16 with a hard-fought 1-2 away win over Always Ready at the high-altitude Estadio Tigo La Huerta in El Alto. A late strike from substitute Nathan Fogaça proved the decisive blow on a dramatic night for both sides.
Shaylon put the Brazilians ahead as early as the 10th minute. The hosts fought back, with Jesús Maraude converting a fine cross-shot to level things in the 74th minute — having already had a first-half effort ruled out for offside.
