Match Report
Al Hilal extended their remarkable unbeaten league season with a hard-fought 1-0 win away at Al Fateh on Saturday. Sergej Milinkovic-Savic grabbed the only goal early in the second half to settle a tight Saudi Pro League contest at Prince Abdullah bin Jalawi Stadium.
The Serbian midfielder struck in the 48th minute, finishing off a move started by Mohamed Kanno from a corner. Milinkovic-Savic picked up a yellow card shortly after, joining teammate Kalidou Koulibaly in the referee's notebook. Al Hilal dominated throughout with 55% possession and 16 shots to Al Fateh's six, but couldn't find a second despite their territorial advantage.
The result keeps Al Hilal second in the table and firmly in the title hunt behind leaders Al Nassr. For 13th-placed Al Fateh, another defeat adds to their growing worries in the bottom half.
