Burnley and Bournemouth played out a goalless draw at Turf Moor on Saturday, with neither side able to find a breakthrough in a tense Gameweek 30 encounter. The closest anyone came was Jaidon Anthony, who met a back-post corner with a vicious volley that smashed the underside of the crossbar and bounced away. Bournemouth enjoyed over 61% of possession but struggled to turn their dominance into clear-cut chances. Burnley showed grit in defence but offered precious little going forward, and frustration boiled over late on as Hannibal Mejbri picked up the game's only booking. The point does little for either side's ambitions. Burnley remain rooted in 19th on 19 points, now nine adrift of safety with just nine games remaining. Bournemouth stay ninth on 40 points, four behind seventh-placed Brentford in the race for Europe.
