AS Roma vs Pisa SC
Match Report
AS Roma put last week's Inter drubbing firmly behind them, cruising to a 3-0 Serie A win over bottom-side Pisa at the Olimpico. The night was all about Donyell Malen, whose hat-trick was as clinical as it was decisive.
Malen was on the scoresheet inside four minutes, pouncing after a Caracciolo error to cut inside and beat Semper. Lorenzo Pellegrini nearly added a second with a free kick that rattled the post at 42', but Malen did the job moments later, converting a rebound assisted by Devyne Rensch. Pellegrini didn't emerge for the second half, though it barely mattered — Malen completed his treble on 52 minutes, finishing cooly from a Matías Soulé through ball. Pisa's Touré picked up a booking early on and the visitors never threatened.
The win keeps Roma's European qualification push very much alive. For Pisa, rooted to the foot of the table, the gap to safety now looks almost unbridgeable.
