Match Report
AS Roma pulled off one of the season's most dramatic away victories, beating Parma 3-2 with a penalty from Donyell Malen deep into stoppage time — a result that keeps the Giallorossi very much alive in the Champions League race.
Malen opened the scoring in the 22nd minute with a clinical finish set up by Paulo Dybala, but Parma rallied through Gabriel Strefezza just after the interval and Mandela Keita's powerful strike in the 87th minute gave the hosts what looked like a winning lead. Roma refused to fold: Devyne Rensch leveled at the 94th minute, then won the decisive penalty after Sascha Britschgi fouled him and was sent off. Malen stepped up and converted coolly in the 101st minute.
The win moves Roma level with AC Milan and just a point behind Juventus, making the final weeks of the season a genuine three-way fight for European glory. Parma, safe in mid-table, will be left ruing a painful collapse they will not forget in a hurry.
