Genoa looked set for a much-needed lift when Milutin Osmajic swept home an early opener, but Como responded with a ruthless first-half surge that turned the game on its head at the Ferraris. By halftime, Cesc Fabregas's side had completely flipped the scoreline and never looked back. Osmajic put the hosts ahead in the 19th minute, only for Martin Baturina to level things up with a fine strike from outside the box six minutes later. Assane Diao then volleyed Como in front in the 30th, and Nico Paz curled in a third right before the break to make it a rout. Diao added his second, and Como's fourth, in the 78th minute after combining with fellow newcomer Moise Kean. No cards or penalties disrupted the flow. It's a brutal result for Genoa, now winless and scoreless in two of their last three, piling pressure on the bench early in the season. Como, meanwhile, keep rolling after their win over Napoli, with Fabregas's attacking blueprint clicking into gear at just the right time.
