Puerto Rico's national football team, governed by the Federación Puertorriqueña de Fútbol and affiliated with CONCACAF, represents the island territory in international competition. Puerto Rico competes in CONCACAF Gold Cup qualifying and FIFA World Cup qualifying rounds for the CONCACAF region. The team has historically faced challenges developing football amid the dominance of baseball and basketball on the island. However, investment in youth development and the emergence of diaspora players have gradually raised the standard. Puerto Rico has participated in international friendlies and regional tournaments, with ambitions to improve their FIFA ranking. Home matches are played at the Estadio Juan Ramón Loubriel in Bayamón.
