FC Baltika Kaliningrad was founded in 1954 and is the principal football club of Kaliningrad, Russia's westernmost exclave on the Baltic Sea. Baltika plays its home matches at the Kaliningrad Stadium, a modern 35,212-capacity arena built for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, which hosted four group-stage matches during the tournament.
