Al Ain
Al Ain FC, also known as The Boss, is one of the most celebrated football clubs in the Arab world, founded in 1968 in the Garden City of Al Ain in the UAE's Abu Dhabi emirate. The club plays home matches at the state-of-the-art Hazza bin Zayed Stadium, which holds 25,174 spectators. Al Ain has won the UAE Pro League championship a record number of times and has been a consistent force in the AFC Champions League, winning the title in 2003. Their most remarkable achievement came at the 2018 FIFA Club World Cup, where they became the first Arab team to reach the final, facing Real Madrid. Coached by Zoran Mamic at the time, Al Ain defeated the likes of River Plate en route to that historic final.
