Brighton & Hove Albion, founded in 1901 and playing at the 31,876-capacity Amex Stadium in Falmer since 2011, transformed from a lower-league club that nearly dropped out of the Football League in 1997 into one of the Premier League's most admired clubs under chairman Tony Bloom's data-driven ownership. Under Roberto De Zerbi, appointed in 2022, Brighton achieved their highest-ever league finish of sixth in 2022-23 and qualified for European competition for the first time. The club's innovative recruitment model has identified and developed Moïses Caicedo, Alexis Mac Allister, and Marc Cucurella — sold for a combined approaching £200 million — while consistently competing in the Premier League's top half. Under Fabian Hürzeler, the youngest manager in Premier League history, Brighton finished eighth in 2024-25, maintaining their identity as a template for analytically driven, tactically progressive modern club management.
