The standout moment was centre-back Lewis Dunk's stunning 25-yard strike into the top corner — a finish more befitting a striker than a defender. Charalampos Kostoulas opened the scoring in the 35th minute, and Malick Yalcouyé doubled Brighton's lead early in the second half. Things got worse for Coventry when Taiwo Awoniyi was sent off in the 53rd minute. Pascal Groß converted a penalty in the 70th, Dunk struck in the 83rd, and substitute Yasin Ayari added a fifth deep into stoppage time. The win lifts Brighton into fourth place, just five points off the top, continuing their strong start.
