Levski Sofia

PFC Levski Sofia is one of Bulgaria's most iconic and historically significant football clubs, founded in 1914 in the capital Sofia and named after the Bulgarian national hero Vasil Levski. The club is one of the most decorated in Bulgarian football history, having won the First Professional Football League title over 26 times and the Bulgarian Cup on numerous occasions. They play home matches at Stadion Georgi Asparuhov, known as Gerena, which holds around 29,200 spectators. Levski has participated in UEFA competitions including the Champions League qualifying rounds and has developed numerous Bulgarian international players. The club holds a fierce rivalry with CSKA Sofia that defines Bulgarian football. Known as the Blues, Levski boasts one of the largest and most passionate supporter bases in the country.
