Remo
Clube do Remo was founded on 5 February 1905 in Belém, the capital of Pará state in northern Brazil. One of the most decorated clubs in the Amazon region, Remo compete in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and the Campeonato Paraense, wearing blue and white. Their best national result was seventh place in the Série A in 1993 and a semi-final run in the Copa do Brasil in 1991. The club won the Série C title in 2005. Remo's greatest rivalry is with Paysandu in the Clássico Re-Pa, the most played derby in Brazilian football history with over 760 matches between the two sides, representing the passionate divide in Pará's football culture. The club holds 55 titles in total, making them the dominant force in north Brazilian football. Their fanbase, one of the largest in the north, passionately fills the Baenão stadium.
