Real Club Celta de Vigo is a Spanish football club founded in 1923 in Vigo, Galicia, in northwest Spain. The club plays its home matches at the Estadio de Balaidos and competes in La Liga. Known as 'Os Celestes' (The Sky Blues), Celta Vigo are celebrated for their fluid, technical style of play and their passionate Galician support. The club came close to winning La Liga in 1991 and has had memorable European campaigns, reaching the UEFA Cup semi-finals in 2003.
