Casa Pia AC
Casa Pia AC is a Portuguese football club with origins dating back to 1920, associated with the historic Casa Pia de Lisboa charitable institution, founded in Lisbon in 1780 to care for orphans and underprivileged youth. After many decades in the lower leagues, Casa Pia enjoyed a remarkable revival, winning promotion to the Primeira Liga for the 2022–23 season — their first top-flight campaign in over 50 years. They have since established themselves as a competitive Primeira Liga side, surprising larger clubs. The team's home ground is the Estádio Municipal de Rio Maior. Their story is celebrated as a symbol of institutional resilience and community-driven football development in Portugal.
