Telstar

Telstar is a Dutch football club founded in 1963 and based in Velsen-Zuid, North Holland, Netherlands. Competing primarily in the lower tiers of Dutch football, Telstar has spent much of its history in the Eerste Divisie, the second tier of Dutch football. The club plays its home matches at the Buko Stadion. Known as the White Sharks, Telstar has served as a development club for many talented Dutch players who have gone on to play in the Eredivisie and beyond. Despite limited resources, the club maintains a strong connection with its local community and is recognized for nurturing youth talent. Telstar occasionally bounces between the Eerste Divisie and Eredivisie, always fighting to maintain its place in competitive Dutch football.
