AS Roma

Associazione Sportiva Roma, founded on June 7, 1927, through the merger of three Roman clubs and playing at the Stadio Olimpico in the Eternal City, embodies the giallorossi (yellow and red) identity of Rome itself. The club has won three Serie A titles (1942, 1983, 2001) and nine Coppa Italia trophies, and reached the 1984 European Cup final, heartbreakingly losing a penalty shootout to Liverpool on their own ground. Under José Mourinho, Roma won the inaugural UEFA Europa Conference League in 2022, defeating Feyenoord in Tirana — the first European trophy in the club's 94-year history. The greatest player in Roma's history is Francesco Totti, the 'King of Rome,' who spent his entire 786-match career at the club scoring 307 goals in an act of extraordinary loyalty.
