The Guinea national football team, known as the Syli Nationale (National Elephants), has represented the country since the 1960s following independence. Based in Conakry and affiliated with CAF, the team has qualified for multiple Africa Cup of Nations tournaments and reached the quarter-finals on several occasions. Guinea produced legendary midfielder Naby Keita, who brought international attention to Guinean football during his career at RB Leipzig and Liverpool. The team also featured Sylla and Camara in formative years.
