Match Report
Wolves and Fulham shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw at Molineux on the penultimate Premier League weekend, with Mateus Mané at the centre of everything — good and bad. The Wolves forward put the hosts ahead in the 26th minute, cutting into the box with composure and finishing calmly with his right foot to give the home crowd something to cheer on an otherwise gloomy afternoon.
The lead didn't last. Mané gifted Fulham a route back into the match with a reckless challenge inside his own box. VAR confirmed the penalty decision, and Antonee Robinson stepped up to convert in the 45th minute. The second half petered out with neither side able to force a winner.
Already relegated with just 18 points and no win since March, Wolves said farewell to Molineux as a top-flight club. For Fulham, sitting 11th and five points behind seventh-placed Brighton, the draw all but extinguishes their slim hopes of UEFA qualification.
