A late strike from substitute João Palhinha handed Tottenham Hotspur a hard-fought 1-0 win at Molineux on Saturday, ending a miserable 15-game winless run in the Premier League. The decisive moment came in the 82nd minute when fellow substitute Richarlison swivelled and hooked a shot toward goal from a corner delivered by Pedro Porro, and Palhinha was on hand to prod home at the back post. It was an underwhelming game overall — neither side managed a shot on target in the first half — and Spurs were also hampered by injuries to Dominic Solanke and Xavi Simons.
