Match Report

Ilya Berkovskiy stole the show with a stunning hat-trick as Torpedo Moscow thrashed SKA Khabarovsk 4-1 at Arena Khimki in Round 26 of the PARI First League. The forward was simply unstoppable, netting three times across a devastating 35-minute spell. Berkovskiy opened the scoring on 14 minutes before doubling the lead just before the break. He completed his treble four minutes into the second half, and Daniil Utkin piled on the misery with a fourth on 55 minutes to leave the visitors shell-shocked. Kamran Aliev pulled one back for SKA Khabarovsk three minutes later, but it proved nothing more than a consolation as Torpedo comfortably saw out the remaining half-hour. The emphatic victory lifts Torpedo Moscow to 11th in the table on 33 points, leapfrogging SKA Khabarovsk on goal difference. Both sides remain locked in mid-table with plenty of the season still to play.
