Parma Calcio 1913 vs AC Monza

Parma and Monza shared the points at the Tardini in a 1-1 draw that gave both winless sides their first result of the season. It was a scrappy, chance-filled afternoon, with the visitors looking sharper for long spells before fading late. Jay Robinson broke the deadlock in the 38th minute with a right-footed strike from the edge of the box that flew into the far bottom corner, his first Serie A goal. Parma pushed back and got their reward in the 60th minute when substitute Simone Lontani netted his first top-flight goal after coming off the bench. There were no cards or penalties, but plenty of drama: Dany Mota spurned two good early chances, Lorenzo Lucchesi produced a goal-line clearance to deny David Romero, and Andrea Colpani hit the crossbar before Edoardo Corvi denied him again from a free-kick header. Both clubs were missing key players through injury, and the draw offers little more than a foothold after difficult starts. For Parma, Lontani's impact off the bench is a welcome sign, while Monza will rue fading after a strong first half against a side also searching for form.
