Match Report
Paris Saint-Germain edged past Stade Brest 1-0 at the Parc des Princes, taking a giant step toward a fifth successive Ligue 1 title. The night looked to be heading nowhere until Désiré Doué broke the deadlock in the 82nd minute, drilling a low right-footed strike from outside the box past goalkeeper Grégoire Coudert.
The first half was goalless despite PSG's clear dominance. After the break, Senny Mayulu came agonisingly close, rattling both the crossbar and the inside of the post with a ferocious effort from the edge of the area — before Doué finally made the pressure count. No cards or penalties disrupted the evening.
The win moves PSG six points clear of second-placed Lens with two games remaining; they can seal the championship as early as Wednesday. For Brest, the pain runs deeper still — they are now winless in 34 consecutive meetings against their Parisian rivals, a record low with no obvious end in sight.
