Lech Poznań vs Thun

Lech Poznań produced their biggest-ever European win, brushing aside Thun 7-0 in the Europa League fourth qualifying round. The Polish side were relentless from the start, racing to a 5-0 halftime lead that put the tie beyond doubt before the break even finished. Patrik Wålemark opened the scoring in the 10th minute and doubled his tally in the 25th, sandwiching a close-range finish from Allahyar Sayyadmanesh in the 20th. Mateusz Skrzypczak added a fourth in the 31st minute, and Radosław Murawski capped a dominant first half by converting in stoppage time. Three minutes into the second half, Daniel Hakans made it six after his effort deflected in off a Thun defender, before Robert Gumny sealed the rout in the 79th minute with a delightful lob. Thun's best moment came early, when Murawski had to clear off the line to deny an opener. It's a statement win for Lech Poznań, who managed the result despite missing injured captain Mikael Ishak, and puts them firmly in control ahead of the return leg. For Thun, the Swiss champions face an enormous task to salvage the tie next week.
