Getafe CF vs FK Partizan

Getafe claimed a striking 3-1 win over Partizan in the first leg of their Conference League play-off, doing it the hard way by playing more than an hour with ten men before finishing the visitors off late on. Enes Ünal put the hosts ahead early, heading home in the 9th minute, only for Seck to level for Partizan just before the break. The turning point came when Abdel Abqar was shown a second yellow in the 68th minute, reducing Getafe to ten men. Rather than wilt, the hosts held firm and struck twice late, through Andrés García in the 87th minute and Johan Mojica in stoppage time, to seal it. The result hands Getafe a commanding cushion heading into next week's return leg in Belgrade, even with Abqar suspended for the second leg. For Partizan, a two-goal deficit against a team that outlasted them a man light leaves a mountain to climb to reach the league phase.
