Al Ittihad handed Al Nassr a first defeat of the season with a 2-1 win at Alinma Bank Stadium, storming out of the blocks to seize control before the visitors even settled. The home crowd barely had time to sit down before the game was tilted firmly in Al Ittihad's favor.
George Ilenikhena was the standout, striking twice inside the opening 22 minutes, the second created by a defense-splitting through ball from Houssem Aouar. Al Nassr hit back through Ângelo Gabriel in the 36th minute, and pushed hard after the break as Cristiano Ronaldo and João Félix tested goalkeeper Rajković repeatedly, but no equalizer arrived despite a flurry of yellow cards and late pressure.
