Al Hazem snatched a stoppage-time equalizer to draw 1-1 with Al Shabab at Ar-Rass Stadium, with a last-gasp penalty and a late red card adding real drama to the finish. Al Shabab led from early in the second half after Roger Martínez converted a Yannick Carrasco assist in the 48th minute, and the visitors dominated possession and shots for most of the night. Al Hazem stayed patient and were rewarded when Afimico Pululu tucked away a penalty in the 90+5th minute. Dhari Al-Anazi was then shown a second yellow in stoppage time, leaving the hosts to close out the point with ten men. The draw leaves Al Shabab still searching for their first league win of the season, a frustrating result given how much of the game they controlled.
