Trabzonspor thrashed Genclerbirligi 5-0 at home in matchweek four of the Super Lig. The standout moment belonged to Paul Onuachu, who snapped an eight-week goal drought in style, scoring twice inside the opening 22 minutes.
Onuachu headed Trabzonspor in front in the 5th minute, and Mohamed Salah doubled the lead from the penalty spot in the 14th after a foul on Nwaiwu inside the box. Onuachu struck again in the 22nd to make it 3-0 before halftime, then limped off injured in the 44th minute, replaced by new signing Franculino Dju. Ernest Muci added a fourth in the 59th minute before Dju capped the rout in the 78th.
The win marks a turning point for Trabzonspor, who steadied themselves under interim boss Huseyin Cimsir after an uneven start, despite several players still sidelined through injury.
