Göztepe vs Gaziantep FK

Gaziantep FK raced into a stunning 4-0 halftime lead at Göztepe and held on for a 2-4 away win in Süper Lig week four, with the hosts' late fightback proving too little, too late. Halil Dervişoğlu opened the scoring inside five minutes before Abena doubled the lead soon after. Kozlowski then struck twice, either side of the half-hour mark, capping the rout with a stoppage-time finish to make it 4-0 at the break. Göztepe keeper Tobiasz did save a Miroshi penalty awarded after a VAR review, but it barely slowed the visitors. Juan gave the hosts hope with a 51st-minute strike and converted a stoppage-time penalty to finish 2-4, though Ogün Bayrak's 72nd-minute red card left Göztepe chasing the game with ten men. The result lifts Gaziantep FK to seven points and points to an attack hitting its stride early in the season, while Göztepe remain stuck on just one point, with defensive frailties now a pressing concern.
