S. Kostroma looked set to claim a big win over Ufa at Arena Khimki, only to be denied by a cruel own goal deep into stoppage time that turned three points into one.
Amur Kalmykov put the hosts ahead in the 50th minute, heading home from a corner at the far post. He then missed a golden chance to double the lead, blazing a penalty wide after a handball by Ufa defender Zaur Tarba. That miss proved costly: deep into stoppage time, Nikolai Tarasov turned the ball into his own net for 1-1. Yellow cards piled up for both sides late on, though no one was sent off.
