Shinnik Yaroslavl looked set to cruise to a home win before Arsenal Tula hit back with two goals in the space of three minutes to snatch a share of the spoils in a lively FNL clash.
Ilya Azyavin put the home side ahead in the 21st minute, finishing off a chance created by Albeck Gongapshev, then doubled the lead just before the break by converting a 41st-minute penalty. Arsenal Tula responded quickly after the restart: Igor Gorbunov pulled one back in the 53rd minute off a Nikita Karmaev assist, and Timur Melekestsev completed the comeback three minutes later to make it 2-2.
The draw leaves both sides in the FNL's midtable pack early in the season. Shinnik Yaroslavl will be frustrated at surrendering a two-goal cushion at home, while Arsenal Tula can take real encouragement from a spirited road comeback.
