AFC Bournemouth vs Liverpool

Liverpool edged a tight Premier League clash at the Vitality Stadium, with Alexander Isak's second-half strike enough to sink Bournemouth on a landmark afternoon for Reds boss Andoni Iraola, making his first trip back to his old club since leaving for Anfield. The opener came in the 57th minute, Isak turning in a low finish after Cody Gakpo's cross was deflected into his path, continuing his hot scoring form. Before that, Dominik Szoboszlai saw yellow for a rash challenge, while at the other end Alisson denied Evanilson from close range to keep the scoresheet blank in a cagey first half. Ryan Christie pushed for a leveler late on but couldn't find a way past the Liverpool defense. The win nudges Liverpool further up the table and hands Iraola a triumphant homecoming, while Bournemouth stay stuck in a rut against their old manager, still searching for answers up front despite spells of pressure.
