Linfield vs Nõmme Kalju

Linfield pushed Nõmme Kalju all the way at Windsor Park, twice taking the lead in the second leg of their Conference League qualifier, only to be pegged back by a heartbreaking stoppage-time equaliser. The 2-2 draw meant Kalju advanced 3-2 on aggregate after their first-leg win in Estonia. Ethan McGee fired the hosts ahead inside 11 minutes, but Oleksandr Musolitin had a penalty saved on 27 minutes before immediately atoning with the leveller. Kieran Offord restored Linfield's lead just after the break, in the 49th minute, and the Blues held firm deep into stoppage time. But Mihhail Orlov, set up by Roko Vukušić, struck in the second minute of added time to complete a cruel late twist. It's a bitter end for Linfield, whose spirited display couldn't prevent another early European exit. Kalju march on to a second qualifying round tie against Shelbourne, the side that eliminated Linfield from the same competition last season.
