Ballkani booked their spot in the next qualifying round with a 3-2 win over Connahs Q. in Prishtina, turning a goalless first leg into a lively decider at home. The Kosovan side stunned the Welsh visitors with a fast start, and once they doubled their advantage midway through the second half it looked like a routine night, only for the Nomads to make things interesting late on.
Edvin Kuč broke the deadlock in the 20th minute before Giovanni struck early in the second half (49') and Valentin Serebe added a third (57') to put Ballkani firmly in control. Connahs Q. hit back through a Max Woodcock penalty in the 69th minute and pulled another one back via Hussein Mehasseb in the 76th, setting up a nervy finish that Ballkani ultimately survived.
The result sends Ballkani through to the next qualifying round on the back of their home firepower, while Connahs Q. exit Europe with credit after holding firm for a goalless draw in the first leg and pushing their more experienced opponents until the closing stages.
