FC Levadia Tallinn ran riot at The Oval, hammering Caernarfon Town 5-0 in their UEFA Conference League first qualifying round first leg. A headed finish from Rasmus Peetson after just 15 minutes signalled what was to come against the Welsh side.
João Pedro doubled the advantage on 41 minutes, and Mark Roosnupp struck on the stroke of half-time to make it three. Mihkel Ainsalu added a fourth barely two minutes after the restart. Caernarfon's evening darkened further when Ben Nash was sent off for violent conduct on 62 minutes — his second yellow of the night — and though Maksimilian Skvortsov spurned a penalty six minutes later, Enock Otoo completed the rout with a 78th-minute finish assisted by Ainsalu.
Levadia Tallinn head home with a near-unassailable lead, making the return leg a formality. For Caernarfon Town, competing in European football for only the second time in their history, the gulf in class was painfully clear.
