Le Mans vs RC Lens

Le Mans and Lens shared the points in a thrilling 2-2 draw at Stade Marie-Marvingt, with the hosts twice taking the lead only to watch their visitors claw back level in stunning fashion. It was the second time in three days that Lens had erased a two-goal deficit, having done the same against Slavia Prague midweek. Le Mans looked in control after goals from Adil Bourabaa (32') and Lucas Calodat (44') put them 2-0 up heading into the break. But Lens responded almost immediately through Abdallah Sima in first-half stoppage time, then leveled early in the second half via Franjo Ivanovic (51'). Jonathan Gradit made a welcome return from a long-term leg injury, and Thorgan Hazard came agonizingly close to snatching a winner when he struck the crossbar late on. The result leaves Le Mans still searching for their first league win of the season, while Lens extended their own winless run despite showing real character to salvage a point on the road.
