ADO Den Haag vs Fortuna Sittard

Fortuna Sittard left The Hague with a 3-2 win over ADO Den Haag, powered by a man-of-the-match display from Mohamed Ihattaren, who scored twice and set up a third.

Ihattaren opened the scoring in the 29th minute with a deflected effort off Milan Hokke, then teed up Lequincio Zeefuik's header five minutes later to make it 0-2. Yannick Eduardo pulled one back for the hosts on 59 minutes, but Ihattaren answered almost immediately, curling a stunning finish into the top corner to restore the two-goal cushion. Jesse Bal's stoppage-time header set up a nervy finish, and a late effort from De Ruijter rattled the post, but no equalizer arrived. No red cards or penalties were shown.

The defeat leaves questions hanging over ADO Den Haag's young squad, with former player Ricardo Kishna publicly questioning the club's reliance on unproven talent. Fortuna Sittard, buoyed by Ihattaren's rediscovered form, look increasingly comfortable in mid-table.
