Torino vs AC Milan

AC Milan opened their Serie A season with a 2-1 win at Torino, turning a cagey, goalless first half into a statement victory thanks to an electric second-half cameo from substitute Adrien Rabiot. The visitors broke through in the 64th minute when Alphadjo Cisse chested down a Rabiot cross and curled it into the far corner for his first Serie A goal. Two minutes later Rabiot got in on the act himself, finishing off a move down the right involving Chukwueze to double the lead. Torino hit back deep into stoppage time as Che Adams met a Gineitis cross and rifled a spectacular finish home in the 93rd minute, but it was only a consolation. The win gives new coach Ruben Amorim a perfect start to his Milan tenure, while Torino will rue missed chances, including a post struck in the 74th minute, as they open the campaign with a narrow home defeat.
