Match Report
Central Africa and Togo played out a competitive 1-1 draw in their June FIFA window friendly in Morocco. Goduine Koyalipou broke the deadlock in the 24th minute to give the Fauves an early advantage, before Kévin Denkey drew the Éperviers level with a composed 60th-minute equaliser.
The Central Africans looked in control for much of the first half after Koyalipou's opener. Togo grew into the match after the break, and Denkey's well-taken second-half effort cancelled out the deficit and ensured the spoils were shared. No red cards or penalties disrupted the proceedings.
Both sides are using the June FIFA dates as preparation for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign, which gets underway in September. Togo head into their follow-up friendly against Benin on June 9 with a point of confidence, while Central Africa will take heart from a disciplined first-half showing.
