Morocco vs Norway
Match Report
Morocco and Norway split the points in a lively 1-1 draw in Harrison, New Jersey, the final warm-up for both sides before the 2026 World Cup. Morocco looked set for a winning send-off until Martin Ødegaard came up clutch in the final quarter.
Brahim Díaz broke the deadlock in the 8th minute, converting a smart ball from Abde Ezzalzouli to give Morocco an early advantage. Norway struggled to respond — Erling Haaland was largely kept quiet and Alexander Sørloth squandered a first-half chance. Morocco were also dealt two injury blows, losing Noussair Mazraoui in the 27th minute and Ezzalzouli himself at half-time. Ødegaard finally levelled in the 75th minute, finishing from Oscar Bobb's incisive pass.
The result leaves both teams with something to work with. Morocco showed attacking intent and control, but the injury absences are a concern heading into the tournament. Norway can take confidence from their captain's clutch quality.
