Fakel vs Yenisey
Match Report
Fakel Voronezh claimed a vital 2-0 win over Yenisey in Round 32 of the PARI First League, moving to the summit of the table in a match that had a dramatic late twist.
Fakel broke the deadlock when Darko Todorovich slotted home in the 74th minute. Then, in the 85th, the hosts were reduced to ten men after Nikolai Giorgobiani picked up his second yellow card and was sent off. Rather than sitting back, Fakel pushed forward — and Belaidi Pusi added a cool finish in the 90th minute to put the result beyond doubt.
The three points send Fakel Voronezh to first place in the PARI First League standings, right in the thick of a promotion battle. Yenisey, who had been in solid mid-table form coming into the game, return to Krasnoyarsk empty-handed.
