Match Report
Cercle Brugge made short work of RAAL La Louvière at Jan Breydel on Saturday, running out commanding 3-0 winners in the Belgian Pro League relegation playoffs. Steve Ngoura set the tone with a goal inside two minutes, and the visitors never found a way back into it.
Ngoura grabbed his brace just before the break (45+2'), after a Magnée cutback and a Vanzeir deflection created chaos in RAAL's box early on. Oluwaseun Adewumi, set up by Nazinho, added a third late on (89') to seal the points. Vanzeir also rattled the crossbar before the interval, while RAAL's Faye was booked in the 75th minute for a rough challenge on Adewumi.
The result marks Cercle's first home win since September, a timely boost as they edge closer to safety. For RAAL La Louvière, the damage is real — Dender can cut the gap to six points with a win of their own, keeping the relegation battle very much alive.
