Rodina Moscow tore FK Chayka apart with a devastating first-half blitz, racing to a 5-2 victory in Gameweek 25 of the FNL. Four goals before the break turned the contest into a rout after the visitors had taken a shock early lead.
Artyom Sokolov silenced the home crowd with a seventh-minute opener for Chayka, but the lead lasted just ten minutes. Andrey Egorychev equalised on 17 minutes before Ivan Timoshenko (24'), Magomedkhabib Abdusalamov (30') and Artem Maksimenko (45') struck in quick succession to make it 4-1 at the break.
Kerfala Cissoko added a fifth on 82 minutes before Stanislav Biblyk grabbed a late consolation for the visitors in the 89th minute.
The result lifts Rodina into second place on 46 points, six behind leaders Fakel. Chayka remain stuck in 17th on just 16 points, deep in the relegation zone.
