Match Report
Braga produced a breathtaking turnaround at the Estádio Municipal, demolishing Ferencvaros 4-0 to overturn a two-goal first-leg deficit and storm into the Europa League quarter-finals. Captain Ricardo Horta was the star of the show with a brilliant brace in a performance that will live long in the memory.
The hosts wasted no time, wiping out the aggregate deficit inside 15 minutes. Horta turned home Rodrigo Zalazar's low cross in the 11th minute before Florian Grillitsch rifled in from 25 yards just four minutes later. Gabri Martínez made it three on 34 minutes, coolly finishing a through ball from Pau Víctor.
Horta put the cherry on top eight minutes into the second half, swerving a beauty past the keeper from the edge of the box. For Braga, it marks a first quarter-final appearance since 2022 and a night their fans won't forget. Ferencvaros head home with their European dream over after a chastening evening in Portugal.
